About Hotel Nesbyen

In 1951, we were a newly started roadside café that could offer you a rest while traveling through Hallingdal. As the guests moved north and south, they relished the new nourishment and courage they had received back at the roadside café.

Our mission today remains the same. Despite the passage of time, the building still looks remarkably similar to what it did in 1951. Our guests come to us to experience Hallingdal and the activities offered in Nesbyen and the surrounding area. A summer holiday in Nesbyen is filled with bike rides, golf games, and hiking. As for the winter season, there are no more popular sports than alpine skiing and cross-country skiing.

Over time, the offers have increased, but our task has remained the same. The hotel offers a different hotel experience in a mix of old and newly renovated premises.

The hotel is also excellent for travelers passing through.

In 2021, the hotel was partially refurbished, with the road café from 1951 as a significant inspiration.
